The Sharp Shooter was founded in 1998 by Debby and Andy Benning, originally located across from the athletic club in the Windchase Shopping Center. In 2008, the Bennings built our current facility on South Staples, expanding into a full-service shop and indoor range. In 2019, their son Austin Benning took over daily operations, bringing fresh energy and innovation. Under his leadership, The Sharp Shooter has grown into what it is today — a trusted local business known for exceptional service, strong vendor partnerships, and a commitment to the Corpus Christi community.
